Related California, the West Coast affiliate of the nation’s largest privately-owned real estate firm, Related Companies, today announces the debut of three luxury apartment models at Mason on Mariposa, located at 1601 Mariposa Street in San Francisco. A distinctive residential offering in the charming neighborhood of Potrero Hill that includes 299 residences and townhomes, Mason on Mariposa combines urban living with contemporary design, lush landscaping and first-rate amenities for a modern take on the classic neighborhood home. The model apartments present the highly anticipated first look at Mason on Mariposa’s stylish interiors and striking finishes, in advance of the building’s first move-ins next month.
The three newly completed apartment models—comprising a studio, one- and two-bedroom—feature stunning interiors and well-crafted finishes with styling by acclaimed Marmol Radziner that brilliantly reflect the vibrancy of the Potrero Hill neighborhood, catering to its discerning community.
“We’re pleased to present these beautiful, personality-filled model apartments in collaboration with Marmol Radziner for our first development in one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in San Francisco,” said Phoebe Yee, senior vice president of design at Related California. “Each of the three models feels authentic to Potrero Hill, featuring Related’s signature luxurious finishes and layering, along with carefully curated art and furnishings to create warm, inviting spaces.”
The model’s contemporary features include floor-to-ceiling windows, 7-inch wide plank flooring throughout, Bosch washers and dryers, expansive closets with customizable Elfa shelving systems and Nest thermostats with air conditioning and heating. Culinary-inspired open kitchens boast a suite of panelized Bosch appliances complete with a five-burner gas cooktop, European-style oak cabinetry, marble tiled backsplashes and an island in the two- and three-bedroom layouts. Serene bathrooms showcase a custom vanity with quartz counters, a medicine cabinet with integrated lighting and glass-enclosed showers/bathtubs with full-height marble tile.
“We were inspired by Potrero Hill—sunny, colorful, and modern—and wanted the model apartments at Mason on Mariposa to feel like an extension of that,” said Ron Radziner, design partner of Marmol Radziner.
The studio apartment model welcomes an abundance of natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows. The studio embraces a soft color palette, furnishings with natural textures, light wood tones and linen wallcoverings. With a relaxed yet stylish California aesthetic, the model perfectly balances a mixture of rich marble and stones with tranquil woods and playful décor including a confetti terrazzo side table and a variety of muted blush painted surfaces. Designed with maximizing space in mind, the model features ample cabinetry in the chef’s kitchen, a large bathroom vanity with oversized medicine cabinet and an impressive walk-in closet.
The one-bedroom apartment model features deeply saturated tones evoking a warm, serene aesthetic. The living room and master bedroom showcase a modern design with touches of industrialism shown through a leather-wrapped bed frame, textured grey wallcoverings, slate blue accent walls and brown leather furniture. Highlights include the chef-inspired kitchen complete with artisan appliances, a spacious bathroom and grand walk-in closet plus two additional closets to maximize storage. The flexible layout is perfect for hosting an intimate dinner party or cozy movie night.
The two-bedroom apartment model exhibits a polished and sophisticated living space with room for entertaining, work and everything in between. Upon arrival, the open L-shaped kitchen with island complete with the suite of Bosch panelized appliances will impress any avid cook. Highlighted by natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows, the great room’s navy blue velvet sofa pops next to the textured linen wallcovering and white marble coffee table displaying vintage accessories and art books. While the master bedroom suite provides a relaxing oasis, the converted second bedroom den serves as a musician’s playroom, study and inviting guest room.
