​​​Designed by Killefer Flammang Architects, La Kretz Villas transformed a vacant lot in Los Angeles into a vibrant new supportive housing community with modern efficiency apartments, community space and social service offices. The units and common areas were designed to foster community amongst residents and provide independent living with supportive services, including access to one-on-one case management, a job center, adult education resources, substance abuse counseling and a free health clinic. A strategic partnership between PATH, one of the area's most experienced homeless service providers, PATH Ventures, PATH's permanent housing development arm, and Related California, La Kretz Villas is located one block away from the PATH Mall and is a prime example of the "Housing First" model for ending homelessness.
