This iconic 12-acre public park, funded and developed by Related on behalf of the County of Los Angeles, currently operates with dynamic performing arts and community programming by the Music Center. The park consists of four distinct areas featuring a restored historic fountain, an intimate performing lawn, a community terrace with drought tolerant plants and a grand event lawn, all creating a place for people to come together. Grand Park was implemented as the first component of the Grand Avenue Plan, a visionary public-private partnership with the Los Angeles Grand Avenue Authority to revitalize downtown LA's cultural and civic core with a mix of commercial, retail, cultural and residential units stitched together with great public spaces and world-class architecture. Opened to the public in 2012, Grand Park has been one of the American Planning Association's Great Places in America.
