In partnership with Centro Cultural, Alder 9 is 159 apartments for low-income seniors and intergenerational families at 30% and 60% Area Median Income.  Located in the heart of Central Eastside Portland, twenty-five units are set aside for Permanent Supportive Housing to serve those who are houseless or at-risk of houselessness. 

The nine-story development includes a ground floor senior wellness center complete with social and activity spaces, including a fitness/movement room, and case management offices. There are plenty of places for residents to gather and connect, including a community garden and courtyard.  Alder 9 is a community hub, providing a home for community-based organizations to offer essential services to the residents.  Centro Cultural operates the Employment and Education Mobility Hub and provides culturally and linguistically relevant educational and employment services.  Impact Northwest provides wraparound services to the twenty-five units of permanent supportive housing, and EngAGE NW offers a host of senior services and arts programming at the ground floor arts center.
