Related worked hand-in hand with the City of San Francisco to build 49 S. Van Ness, a 460,000-square-foot office building that serves as the new home for the San Francisco Planning Department, Department of Building Inspection, and Public Works Department. This new civic building provides office space for nearly 2,000 city employees, and includes a new one-stop-shop permitting center which serves thousands of San Franciscans, bringing all of the city's public-facing permitting agencies together in one single location.
