As Vice President of Construction for Related California Affordable, Ms. Schwartz is responsible for planning and executing all pre-construction and construction activities for the affordable developments in Northern California and the surrounding Bay Area.
Ms. Schwartz brings over a decade of experience with the construction of large-scale developments to Related. Since joining Related in 2019, Ms. Schwartz has been involved with the construction activities at Related Santa Clara, a 240-acre mixed-use development in Santa Clara, that will include commercial, residential, retail and expansive public spaces, and The Grand LA, a dynamic city center with retail, a hotel and 436 luxury rental residences in downtown Los Angeles.
Prior to joining Related, she was a Senior Project Manager for Suffolk Construction, where she oversaw the construction of a 347-unit multifamily development with 5,300 square feet of retail in downtown Los Angeles. As a Senior Project Engineer for Turner Construction, she was involved with multiple phases of the Hollywood Park Redevelopment in Inglewood and complex healthcare and laboratory facilities for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center in Manhattan.
Ms. Schwartz holds a Master in Business Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Northwestern University.
