As Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Venezia is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and arranging debt and equity for Related's urban residential developments, a portfolio of more than 8,000 units. Her key responsibilities include evaluating financial plans, advising regional executives and overall financial strategy. Ms. Venezia comes to Related with more than 20 years of Accounting and Finance experience along with extensive expertise in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining Related, Ms. Venezia was Chief Financial Officer for International Market Centers where she played a key role overseeing all investment underwriting and joint venture and debt structuring analysis for the merger of four competing companies into one. As Vice President and Chief Finance Officer for World Market Center Las Vegas, she oversaw the entire budgeting process and supervised the construction job cost accounting for the project's three building phases, encompassing more than 5.1 million square feet. She joined Related Companies 18 years ago as Manager of the corporate accounting department before becoming Controller of the New York division.
Ms. Venezia holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Saint John's University, is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
