As Development Associate for Related California, Mr. Barrios is responsible for supporting Southern California’s project management team in all aspects of the design, financing and construction of some of their Southern California developments, including more than 100 affordable family units located in Irvine and the resyndication of 146 affordable family units located in Anaheim.
Prior to joining Related, Mr. Barrios held multiple positions at Jamboree Housing Corporation showcasing his growth and commitment to affordable housing. As a Financial Analyst, he built and developed numerous financial models, totaling more than $400 million in assets and submitted diverse funding proposals for more than 500 affordable housing units. As Development Associate, he completed the entitlement process for 10 developments in Southern and Northern California, valued at more than $600,000,000.
Mr. Barrios holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and is a LISC graduate of the California Housing Development Training Institute.
