As Senior Development Associate for Related Northwest, Ms. Norby is responsible for supporting all aspects of project management, including the design, financing, and construction of hundreds of affordable units located throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Ms. Norby comes to Related with more than a decade of experience in affordable housing finance. Prior to joining Related, she dedicated five years to the City of Portland Housing Bureau (PHB). As a PHB Housing Investment and Portfolio Preservation Manager, she led multifamily production and preservation initiatives for a pipeline of 3,200 affordable housing units and worked to secure more than $50 million in additional local and federal resources. As Finance Coordinator, she underwrote and closed financing for new, preserved and restructured affordable housing developments, totaling more than $480 million in 4% and 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions with $150 million in PHB subsidy.
Ms. Norby holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
