As Senior Vice President of Development for Related California, Mr. Northridge oversees all facets of the affordable housing development process across Southern California. His responsibilities span acquisition, entitlement, design, financing, construction, leasing, and marketing of Related’s affordable residential communities. Since joining Related in 2005, Mr. Northridge has been instrumental in expanding the company’s affordable housing portfolio. He has successfully led the development of more than 2,400 units across 23 tax-credit financed developments, including family, senior, and permanent supportive housing communities. Over the course of his career with Related, Mr. Northridge has secured more than $1 billion in project financing.
Prior to joining Related, Mr. Northridge held several positions with the Economic Development Department of the City of Westminster, where he contributed to the city’s development initiatives through DDA negotiations, project entitlements, business attraction and retention, and real estate transactions involving land acquisition and development. Mr. Northridge earned his bachelor's degree in Regional Development from the University of Arizona.
