As Associate Vice President of Design for Related California, Mr. Lee is responsible for steering design direction, managing a team of design professionals, and providing construction assistance for Related’s market rate and mixed-income developments in California. Since joining Related California in 2022, he has contributed to the design direction and construction administration of a 176-unit, luxury senior living development in Santa Clara.
Mr. Lee comes to Related with more than 12 years of design experience. Prior to joining Related California, Mr. Lee was a Designer at Related Companies in New York where he was responsible for the design and construction oversight for The Set and Coterie Hudson Yards, 401 luxury apartments and 138 luxury senior apartments in a single high-rise building. He was also involved in the design and delivery process of numerous developments in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, including Related’s Highline Nine art galleries and 520 West 28th Street, a 39-unit Zaha Hadid-designed condominium, and the delivery of the Harriet Tubman Building, a 63-unit 100% supportive housing development in Queens.
Mr. Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a registered architect in New York State, and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
