As Assistant Vice President of Design, Mr. Hale is responsible for the management of the architecture and interior design for Related’s market rate and mixed-income developments located in San Francisco and Santa Clara. As a registered architect with more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Hale collaborates with construction managers, architects, engineers, and the marketing team for seamless execution.
Prior to joining Related, Mr. Hale was a senior development associate and architect at Vornado Realty Trust, where he managed the design and construction of 220 Central Park South, a $3.5-billion, 70-floor residential skyscraper in New York City. As a senior associate at Robert A.M. Stern Architects, he managed the design teams for mixed-use and residential developments in New York, nationally and internationally. The developments included the 28-acre, 13-tower Hudson Yards in New York, a 154-acre master plan in China complete with residential, hotel and cultural components, and a flagship biotechnology laboratory in Boulder, Colorado.
Mr. Hale received a Bachelor of Architecture from the Syracuse University School of Architecture. He is a registered architect in the state of New York and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
