As Project Coordinator for Related California Affordable, Ms. Torres Ceja is responsible for supporting Northern California’s development team in all aspects of the design, financing and construction of more than 550 affordable units located throughout Northern California.
Ms. Torres Ceja comes to Related with a background in affordable housing development, preservation, research and policy. Since joining Related California in 2025, she has supported the preparation of funding applications, coordinated public funding pursuits, managed due diligence efforts, and assisted development teams through key predevelopment and financing milestones.
Prior to joining Related, as a development team member at Frolic Community, she conducted zoning analyses, GIS site evaluations and financial underwriting to advance cooperative housing developments. At Enterprise Community Partners, Ms. Torres Ceja evaluated the economic viability and composition of affordable housing portfolios to shape preservation strategies, ensuring long-term affordability, and as a Research Fellow at California Housing Partnership, she conducted research on community land trust and affordable housing preservation models to support housing policy and development initiatives.
Ms. Torres Ceja holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Policy from Stanford University.
