Located in the Outer Southeast Portland area within the Powellhurst-Gilbert District on 1.07 acres, Cedar Commons is a 60-unit affordable and supportive housing community for low-income individuals. 40 apartments have been designated as Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for individuals who are houseless or at risk of houselessness. 10 of the PSH units have been reserved for individuals experiencing mental illness. The development consists of single-room occupancy (SRO) units and studio apartments ranging in size from 175 to 350 square feet. Common area amenities include a community room with kitchen, lounge, courtyard, garden and social services center complete with meeting rooms and offices.  Central City Concern provides onsite case management services to residents.
