Cathedral Village Apartments
Located in the desirable St. John's neighborhood of North Portland on a 1.21-acre site, Cathedral Village Apartments will be an 110-unit affordable housing community for low and very low-income (30%-60% AMI) families. Eight units have been designated as Permanent Support Housing (PSH) for individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The 4-story development will be comprised of studios, one-, two and three-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 384 square feet to 1,051 square feet. Common area amenities will include 7,000 square feet dedicated to the residents, complete with community room with kitchen, shared laundry, teen room, music studio, courtyard with barbecue area, tot lot with children's garden, and bicycle parking.
Cathedral Village Apartments is a public-private partnership with Catholic Charities of Oregon that will provide intensive onsite supportive services and opportunities for the residents to achieve greater self-sufficiency and independence. VIBE PDX, a local nonprofit empowering Oregon's youth through music and art, will render after-school music programs for school-age residents. Completion is anticipated in Q3 2022.
