Located on a 1.95-acre empty parking lot on the Eastern border of the City of Fountain Valley, Prado will be a 50-unit affordable development for extremely-low and very-low income families. Eight units have been designated as permanent supportive housing (PSH) units for veterans who are homeless or at risk or homelessness.
The development will be comprised of four residential buildings, including one community building complete with property management and social services offices. There will be 50 tuck under or carport parking spaces plus 44 uncovered spaces. Onsite amenities will include a multipurpose room, community laundry area, plus plenty of outdoor spaces, including a youth playground, separate teen hangout zone and barbecue and picnic area. Onsite social services will be administered by LifeSTEPS. Completion is slated for 2022.
